TapFly The 2-axis onboard FPV camera separates the flight view from the main camera view, effectively giving the Inspire 2 a dedicated TapFly camera. It is also available for QuickSpin, TapFly and ActiveTrack simplify more challenging shots. *Coming soon. Obstacle avoidance is optimised when using Point of Interest* and Waypoint* modes, making complex shots simple and repeatable. In addition to Spotlight Pro, a range of other intelligent flight and shooting modes are available. Spotlight Pro is available in all Intelligent Flight Modes including ActiveTrack, TapFly, Waypoint and Point of Interest. The gimbal can be moved during shooting for composition adjustments. When the subject enters the preset tracking position, press the shortcut to begin tracking. In Composition Mode, select the subject and the tracking position. In Quick Mode, select an object to begin tracking. It has two shooting modes: Quick Mode and Composition Mode. If the gimbal comes close to reaching its rotation limits, the Inspire 2 itself will rotate in the same direction without affecting flight control or the shot being captured to free up gimbal movement. It uses advanced visual tracking algorithms to lock onto a subject during flight, regardless of the direction that the Inspire 2 flies, creating shots that would once have required a dedicated camera operator. With Spotlight Pro the pilot has a powerful tracking mode that allows even single pilots to capture complex, dramatic images. These sensors are core components of the DJI FlightAutonomy system, which brings the below intelligent features to the Inspire 2:Īccurate indoor hovering and positioning. Obstacle sensing systems are active during normal flight, RTH and all Intelligent Flight Modes. Upward facing infrared sensors scan obstacles 16.4ft (5m) above, adding protection when flying in enclosed spaces. Also supported are FAT32/exFAT* file systems, which allow fast copying of files direct from the CINESSD without additional software.įorward and downward vision systems enable the Inspire 2 to detect obstacles up to 30 meters ahead, allowing for protected flight at up to 34mph (54kph) at a controllable attitude angle of 25°. This has been completely optimised and is now capable of recording video in CinemaDNG and Apple ProRes, and other common formats for post-production in filmmaking. ![]() The X4S camera does not support DNG RAW or Apple ProRes. Additional license required when used with CinemaDNG, Apple ProRes2. CineCore 2.0 is built into the aircraft nose and works with any camera connected through the dedicated gimbal port. ![]() The file system for the data is held in a FAT32/exFAT universal file system for the best compatibility. Integrated into the Inspire 2 is the brand new CineCore 2.0 image processing system, capable of recording 5.2K videos in Adobe CinemaDNG, Apple ProRes2 and more. Recorded Video can be stored simultaneously on DJI CINESSD and SD card. The Image System on the Inspire 2 allows for the image processing and storage in the following formats: RAW video record, CineCore 2.0, integrated DJI CINESSD, the video format: CinemaDNG and Apple ProRes 5.2K video support, H.265 and H.264 video compression compatible, 4K video at 100Mbps. An upgraded video transmission system is now capable of dual signal frequency and dual channel, streaming video from an onboard FPV camera and the main camera simultaneously, for better pilot and camera operator collaboration. ![]() Increased intelligence multiple intelligent flight modes, including Spotlight Pro, give even single pilots the ability to create complex, dramatic shots. With a dual battery system, there is a prolonged flight time to a maximum of 27 minutes (with an X4S camera), the dual self-heating battery technology allows it to fly in lower temperatures than the Inspire 1.įlightAutonomy has been revised and developed specifically for the Inspire 2, providing two directions of obstacle avoidance and sensor redundancy. The Inspire 2 has improved performance, with a 0 to 50mph (80kph) in just 4 seconds and a maximum speed of 67mph (108kph), the rate of descent has also been increased, the Inspire 2 has a max decent speed of 9m/s which is unheard of speed and agility in an aircraft this size. With the all-new image processing system which records at up to 5.2K in Cinema DNG RAW, Apple ProRes and more, the DJI Inspire 2 has a great deal to offer cinematographers. The DJI Inspire 2 takes everything that was good about the DJI Inspire 1 and improves on it.
